Corporate Plans Manager
Qualifications

Degree in Architecture or a related field, with 2-4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of both.

Background in production homebuilding design is required.

Technical knowledge of construction with the ability to create and interpret design documents.

Knowledge and experience with CAD software is required.

Ability to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple projects at one time.

Comfortable in a detail-oriented, demanding, and fast-paced work environment.

Team-oriented with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Computer expertise with CAD, email, Microsoft suite required.
Description
As the Corporate Plans manager you will be responsible for:

Maintain plan library, including CAD & PDF files, tracking of changes, publishing changes to affected parties, and developing new plans to meet market conditions.

Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams to review, proof and ensure correct rendering and floor plans are produced for dissemination to the buying public.

Manage external design professionals, including Professional Engineers, site & septic designers, drafters, and others as needed to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of designs.

Ensure consistency across plan series and feature levels.

Review site development plans, specifications, and architectural requirements with Land Department for product fit and feasibility.

Read, create, and interpret design documents, specifications, and option selections.

Represent the Company through quality relationships and upholding Core Values.

Manage and facilitate new products (i.e., models and options) and services to improve product quality and increase margin.

Advise Sales & Purchasing Teams of architectural requirements, collaborate efficient solutions.

Ensure local code and architectural review board compliance and accurate records.

Lead under-construction field walks of all new products, including notes of changes.

Works closely with external design professionals and Executive Team.

Perform other duties as directed by management. Reports to Senior Vice President.
